Communication is the heart of human connection.

That person-to-person connection is what drives all of Deanna’s communications work. Building relationships, developing understanding and enhancing bonds is at the root of her approach, which is partnered with a PESO-based, results-driven mindset to create tangible, measurable success for her clients.

Deanna started her communications career working in government relations and campaign management. She branched into corporate communications and marketing communications from there. With extensive experience in journalism, media relations, public relations and affairs, corporate, executive and internal communication, stakeholder relations, content strategy and multimedia development, Deanna’s skills are matched by few.

She credits her time as a journalist and editor for developing her signature narrative storytelling and data reporting skills. Tenacity and intrepidity are her hallmarks and appear in all her work.

Deanna has worked internationally for a number of clients and news outlets. Her clients have ranged from government contracts to sports league management and she is up for any challenge a client might bring her way. She has placed clients in numerous leading publications and media outlets, from The Wall Street Journal  to ESPN to top TikTok accounts, and her work as a journalist has appeared on NBC, PBS, NPR, The New York Times, The Washington Post and more.

Deanna serves on numerous boards and volunteers extensively. She is an ardent supporter of New York State PTA and charities focused on food security, environmental protection and historic preservation. She is a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the USA Freedom Corps, under the George W. Bush administration. She holds appointed office in her local municipality, and has received several awards and recognitions, including a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.

Above all else, Deanna is a mother, daughter and friend and her relationships take priority in her life. She is an avid outdoorswoman (especially skiing, fly fishing and pickleball) and finds enjoyment in all seasons. When she’s not working, she can be found playing guitar, cooking, entertaining her creative pursuits or renovating her 1800s farmhouse. She finds inspiration for her work in nature, travel, art and the simple act of authentic conversation.
